Tsiribihina River trip - Visit of the Tsingy
The Ten days trip from Tana, Antsirabe, Miandrivazo, Bekopaka, Morondava allows us to explore as we wish, Madagascar, an authentic Island by passing through terraced rice-fields, the lake of Tritriva, the sailing down of Tsiribihina, the famous Tsingy of Bemaraha and that of the sunset at the “avenue of baobabs”

Day 1: Antananarivo

Day 2: Antananarivo - Antsirabe
After breakfast, we drive to Antsirabe. On the road we will enjoy the scenery of the highland with terraced ricefield. In Ambatolampy which is situated on the halfway to Antsirabe were we stop to visit a workshop which makes pots with recycled products as row materials. Upon arrival in Antsirabe, check in at the hotel, before visiting the city to see gemstones shops, horns of zebu and miniatures workshops. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Antsirabe - Miandrivazo
After breakfast, we drive to Miandrivazo, on the way we admire the beauty of the desert landscape. After 5 hours of driving we reach at the destination. Check in at the hotel before we present ourselves to the local authorities for the sake of formalities. Then we have free time to discover the town of Miandrivazo. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 - 5: Down the Tsiribihina River
Transfer to Masiakampy after breakfast, which begins our 1st day one the famous Tsiribihina River with local wooden pirogue crossing a wonderful landscape. We will see many varieties of birds and chameleons as well as species of lemur fulvus come to drink at the riverside. Lunch goes along the shore under the mango trees. After, we continue to the waterfall of Anosinampela, where we can take a bath down the natural waterfall. After an eventful day, a good night's rest is required. Dinner and overnight in the tente. After breakfast, we begin the second day of the descent. Passage through the gorges of Bemaraha allows us to contemplate the beautiful scenery with visiting of the village BEGIDRO where we can discover the daily life of the villagers. Dinner and overnight in the tente.
Day 6: Tsiribihina - Antsiraraka - Belo - Bekopaka
After breakfast, we continue the descent of Tsiribihina. This is our last day on the pirogue. According to our chance, we may see a turtles, bats, and crocodiles during this crossing. End of the morning, we leave the boat and transfer by zebu carts towards the village of Antsiraraka. On this place our 4WD car is wait us to drive to Belo sur Tsiribihina. Lunch and then head to Bekopaka. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Visit of the national park Tsingy de Bemaraha
After breakfast we drive by 4WD to the impressive big Tsingy (Listed as Worldwide Heritage by UNESCO). It’s unique in the World. This is situated in Andamozavaky which is about 17 km from the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the same hotel.
Day 8: Bekopaka - Belo sur Tsiribihina - Morondava
Early departure to drive to Morondava. We make a stop at Belo Tsiribihina for lunch. Then we take the track to Morondava, where we discover the legendary sacred baobab and the lover baobabs. We’ll then go through to the alley of baobabs to admire the sunset in this magical place. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: Morondava - Antsirabe
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Antsirabe - Antananarivo
Buy souvenirs and go to the airport.
